Areas of Expertise

Individual and Group Consultation

I provide individual and group consultation as well as ongoing supervision. I supervise both independently licensed clinicians and pre-licensed professionals seeking their required LMHC clinical hours. I offer consultation for clinicians interested in expanding their private practice. My consultants benefit from a variety of resources I have created and used to build out a successful trauma practice including credentialing experience, forms, best practices, navigating schedules, and practice policies.

If you’re passionate about deepening your work with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, narcissistic abuse, or toxic family systems, my consultation and supervision services are designed to help you build confidence, clarity, and clinical depth. My approach integrates parts work models, a relational and attachment-based framework, and the HAES (Health at Every Size) philosophy.

I also partner with individuals and groups who want to become more trauma-informed, helping clinicians recognize, understand, and skillfully navigate trauma within their client caseloads. Whether you’re seeking growth, guidance, or a more grounded clinical lens, I’ll help you strengthen your skills and expand your therapeutic impact.

EMDR

EMDR therapy is a well-researched and highly effective form of psychotherapy that helps individuals heal from trauma and other challenging life experiences. It can be beneficial for a range of concerns, including trauma and attachment issues, anxiety or panic, phobias, eating disorders, birth trauma, and grief. EMDR is one of several therapeutic approaches I integrate into my work to best support each client’s unique needs.

One of the appealing aspects of EMDR therapy is that it does not require you to share every detail of your experience or complete homework between sessions. Many people find they are missing memory or verbal clues about their experiences. Instead of focusing on changing emotions, thoughts, or behaviors directly, EMDR helps the brain activate its natural ability to heal and process distressing memories.

I am EMDR-trained and an active member of EMDRIA, the EMDR International Association where I receive on-going yearly training for best practices. EMDR can be done in person and online using modern technology.
